5 oz Beef top sirloin
¼ tsp Paprika- 🥄¼ dash Salt
¼ dash Black pepper
½ tbsp Olive oil
¾ tbsp Tamari soy sauce
1 cloves, minced Garlic
½ tbsp Honey
¼ tbsp Sesame oil
¼ tbsp Rice wine vinegar
⅛ tsp, leaves Oregano
¼ tbsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Sesame seeds
¼ medium Scallions
Directions
- 1
Cut the steak into 1/2-inch to 1-inch cubes and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- 2
In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, oregano, and cornstarch until thoroughly combined. Set aside.
- 3
Heat half of the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add half of the steak cubes and cook for 2 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and repeat with the remaining steak cubes, adding extra oil as needed.
- 4
Remove all steak bites from the skillet and set aside. Stir the prepared honey garlic sauce and pour one-third of it into the hot skillet; scrape up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- 5
Return the steak bites to the skillet and pour the remaining sauce over them; cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until the sauce starts to thicken.
- 6
Remove from heat and transfer the steak bites to a plate, drizzling with the pan sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
