- 🥄4 oz Gnocchi
2 tbsp Butter
⅛ lb White mushrooms
1 cloves, minced Garlic
2 fl oz White wine
¼ cup leaves, whole Basil
¼ lemon yields Lemon juice- 🥄½ dash Salt
½ dash Black pepper
¼ oz Parmesan cheese
Directions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- 2
In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly browned, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 3
Pour in the wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Cook until the wine is reduced by half. Add the remaining butter, gnocchi, basil, and lemon juice. Stir to coat everything well and cook until heated through, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
