2 oz Whole wheat pasta
¾ tbsp Olive oil
4 oz Shrimp
1 clove Garlic- 🥄⅛ tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
1 fl oz White wine- 🥄¼ dash Salt
¼ dash Black pepper
¾ tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Parsley
Directions
- 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water before draining.

In a 12-inch heavy skillet, heat olive oil over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking. Sauté the shrimp, turning once, until just cooked through, about 2 minutes. Transfer the shrimp with a slotted spoon to a large bowl.

Crush the garlic cloves using a garlic press and add to the oil remaining in the skillet along with red pepper flakes, white wine, and salt and pepper to taste.
- 4
Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute. Add butter to the skillet, stirring until melted, then return the shrimp to the skillet. Remove from heat.
- 5
In a large bowl, toss the pasta with the shrimp mixture and parsley, adding some of the reserved cooking water if necessary to keep it moist.
