2 oz Ground beef
⅛ tbsp Olive oil
⅛ medium Red bell pepper
⅛ large Carrots
⅛ tsp, leaves Basil
⅛ tsp, leaves Oregano
¼ cup Tomatoes- 🥄½ tbsp Water
1 tbsp Chicken broth
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
⅛ tsp Taco seasoning mix- 🥄⅛ dash Salt
⅛ dash Black pepper
¾ oz Macaroni
⅛ cup, shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- 1
Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned with no pink remaining, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat and transfer the beef to a bowl.
- 2
Return the skillet to medium heat and add the olive oil. Add the chopped red bell pepper and carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, until just tender, about 5 minutes.
- 3
Return the browned beef to the skillet. Stir in the basil, oregano, diced tomatoes, water, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and taco seasoning. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 4
Bring to a lively simmer over medium-high heat. Stir in the macaroni, cover, reduce heat to medium, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed, 8–10 minutes.
- 5
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Sprinkle the cheddar over the top, cover until melted, and serve hot.
